Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, hosts the 2022 NHL Winter Classic between the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues on New Year's Day. Crews build the hockey rink over the infield, part of the work needed to convert the baseball park for the outdoor game. Target Field opened in 2010 and seats close to 39,000 for baseball.
