Protesters gathered outside the Whipple Federal Building near Minneapolis in February. The building served as a staging area for federal agents and a detention center for individuals apprehended during "Operation Metro Surge." Signs held by the crowd expressed opposition to ICE, with one reading "Abolish ICE" and another stating "ICE is Trump's Gestapo."
