Minneapolis Residents Protest ICE with ‘Go Home’ Banner

Residents of South Minneapolis placed a banner reading "ICE GO HOME" on January 28, 2026, to protest the presence and actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicles. The protest occurred amidst concerns about reckless driving by ICE vehicles in residential neighborhoods. The banner, displayed on chairs along the street, also served as a visual statement against ICE operations, particularly during the period of "Operation Metro Surge" in Minneapolis.
