Minneapolis Police 1st Precinct Concrete & Razor Wire

Minneapolis Police 1st Precinct on N 4th Street behind concrete barriers and razor wire in June 2020.
The Minneapolis Police 1st Precinct station on North 4th Street in downtown Minneapolis is surrounded by stacked concrete barriers topped with razor wire. The security fortifications were installed in early June 2020 after protests and unrest followed the killing of George Floyd and after the Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct building was overrun and set on fire. The image shows the station at dusk with the barricades enclosing the street-facing side of the building.
