The group was demanding justice for Daunte Wright, who was killed by police in April 2021. The courthouse lights were shut off for the third consecutive night as jurors deliberated the verdict in the case. The Hennepin County Government Center serves as the primary administrative and judicial hub for the county, housing various government offices and courtrooms.
