George Floyd Mural on Minneapolis Wall

I can't breathe on a South Minneapolis fence
I can't breathe on a South Minneapolis fence.

A mural in South Minneapolis displays George Floyd's final words, "Please, please, please I can't breathe. Please man I can't breathe." These words became a rallying cry during the protests that followed his death in May 2020. The artwork, painted on a wall adjacent to a residential building, serves as a public memorial and a stark reminder of the events that sparked widespread calls for racial justice and police reform. The mural's presence in the neighborhood where Floyd lived underscores the profound impact of his death on the local community and the nation.
