Target East Lake Street Mural: Resilience and Community

This mural adorns the exterior of the Target store located across from the former third precinct in Minneapolis. Following the 2020 unrest, Target committed to commissioning local artists to create permanent murals reflecting the Lake Street community's themes of rootedness, change, resilience, healing, growth, renewal, and togetherness. Seven artists contributed to this artwork, which serves as a visual representation of the neighborhood's spirit and its aspirations for recovery and unity.
