Abortion Rights March, Downtown Minneapolis June 2022

Protesters gathered in downtown Minneapolis on June 24, 2022, the day the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, overturning the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that had established a constitutional right to abortion. The march drew students, including participants from the University of Minnesota, along with residents from across the Twin Cities. Hand-lettered signs carried by demonstrators addressed abortion access and bodily autonomy. Minneapolis has hosted large-scale public marches in its downtown core in response to major national court rulings and political events.
