George Floyd Square Memorial Sculptures in Snow, Minneapolis

Five raised fist sculptures, memorials to George Floyd and Amir Locke, stand covered in snow at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. The intersection, which became a focal point for activism and remembrance following the murder of George Floyd in 2020 and the killing of Amir Locke in 2022, has remained a site for community mourning and protest.
