Winter along the Midtown Greenway, the 5.5-mile rail-to-trail corridor that runs through the heart of Minneapolis. The trench and bridge structures visible here date back to the early 20th century, when the Milwaukee Road railroad used this grade-separated route to move freight without disrupting street traffic.
