George Floyd Square: Youth N Power Memorial Stone

A yellow stone inscribed with "Youth N' Power" is situated near the Say Their Names Memorial at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. This memorial site emerged from the protests following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The square, formerly known as the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for activism and community organizing. The "Youth N' Power" stone serves as a testament to the ongoing engagement of young people in social justice movements and their role in shaping the narrative and future of the space.
