Paris Stevens, cousin of George Floyd, speaks at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis on what would have been George Floyd's 48th birthday. The square, located at the intersection of Chicago Avenue and 38th Street, has been a memorial and gathering place since Floyd's murder in May 2020. The event marks a significant date for the community that has coalesced around the memorial, continuing to advocate for racial justice and police reform.
