Dozens gathered at George Floyd Square to remember Malcolm X and talk about black liberation movements. Malcolm was killed 56 years ago. The GFS Liberation Loppet also took place honoring explorer Matthew Henson, who is said to be the first to reach the North Pole. Part of the Minneapolis Uprising documentation, with this image appearing in the February 2021 album, documenting events after the May 25, 2020 murder of George Floyd.
