Plastic Debris on Ambergris Caye Shoreline, Belize

Plastic debris and seaweed line the shoreline of Ambergris Caye, Belize, where mangroves meet the shallow coastal water. Single-use plastic items and other trash are scattered along the beach in a shallow embayment, with a small mangrove tree standing just offshore.
