Convent Refinery Administration Sign, St. James Parish, LA

Shell's Convent Refinery in St. James Parish, Louisiana, operated on the Mississippi River until Shell ended refinery operations in 2020. The facility opened in 1967 and was part of the industrial corridor known as Louisiana's River Parishes petrochemical complex. The administration and visitors sign identified the refinery entrance.
