“The third precinct has been compromised”

George Floyd was killed outside of Cup Foods on Chicago Avenue in South Minneapolis the evening of May 25th. Protesters gathered on May 26th and began marching towards the Minneapolis police third precinct. What followed was days of sustained protests that included the precinct being set ablaze on May 28th.
